My name is Emily Vernet and I am an aspiring leader and medical advocate with a Master's in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor's from the University of Central Florida. Throughout my academic career, I developed a passion for medicine, research, civic engagement, and mentorship.​

​My philosophy involves being comfortable with being uncomfortable as demonstrated
by my academic and extracurricular experiences. I have consistently inserted myself into situations that have allowed me to grow and explore myself as a student and a leader.​
I have a hopeful future as a medical leader. My future aspirations include mitigating the health disparities in local communities. I hope to continue to serve others in my community as a physician, using my knowledge and experiences to become a compassionate leader and impact the lives of others.
